Week 7 - Final Project Client Opportunities

With the project inching closer and closer, now is a perfect time to look ahead at figuring out possible clients. The purpose of the project is to obviously apply the knowledge to a real world opportunity. The project will study business activity in which I will be creating an infographic relevant to certain findings. Below are my high priority targets for completing the final project. 

Superior Truck Docking Service







I was recently employed by this local company and I believe it would be a great opportunity especially because I am familiar with the work. Superior is in a niche market and it would be interesting to get a better in depth look at pivotal factors in the business. 

Benedictine Athletics














I am currently an entry level worker for the athletics department at Benedictine University and I get an inside look at the schools graphic work. Infographics for sports are extremely appealing to fans because it offers information that is not easily identifiable. With the help of modern technology, many sports programs have access to detailed statistics such as the spin-rate (RPM) of a baseball. 

American Hospital Association













This company already has great infographics and other digital content, but I think it would be a great learning experience to put my abilities to the test. My sister currently works for AHA in Chicago and I could have access to great feedback from professionals in the field.

Week 15 - Exit Blog

 As the end of the school year approaches, I want to reflect on my experience in digital marketing. With the help of Dr. Kelsey and the amazing class setup, I am certified in SEO, Google Analytics, Hootsuite as well as a few others. I believe that these certifications really give students an edge in pursuing a related career and am forever thankful for the opportunities given to me from Benedictine University's College of Business. Week 14 - Feedback

I have speaking with my client Superior Truck Dock Service Inc. to complete a professional infographic. This small company primarily does service work for a variety of different businesses in the Greater Chicagoland Area. Competition in this industry is very limited due to the market type (niche). After speaking with the owner, he said that the biggest struggle for his business is graphics/advertising.  I created the infographic below to cover both of the weak spots for Superior. It is extremely simplified because many businesses don't know who to call when they have these issues. Therefore, covering the key services that Superior provides is vital during exposure. I am currently waiting to hear back from the owner for feedback. Although, I was told by family that using Superiors photos would be better if possible and I agree with that. Besides the point, feedback is a great outlet to use as it can help creators get an alternative perspective and on the right track for success....
